Business phone number and auto attendant
Your company needs a phone number, not a phone system.
One business number with a simple menu. Callers pick who they need, it rings that person's mobile, and your personal number stays off your website, your invoices and the side of your truck.
$29 a month, flat, for the whole company. No per-user seats. No contract. No desk phones. Nothing to install.
The entire product
rings his mobile
rings her mobile
rings two mobiles at once
Mike, Dana and the office keep using the phones already in their pockets. None of their numbers is ever shown to the caller, and none of them installs anything.
Setup
Working in about ten minutes.
There are three things to do, and then you are finished forever.
Pick a number
Choose a local number in your area code, or a toll free one. Already have a business number somewhere else? Port it over and keep it.
Write the greeting
Type what you want callers to hear and we generate the voice, or record it yourself from your phone. Change it whenever you like.
Point each option at a mobile
Type in the mobile numbers. One option can ring several phones at once, so whoever is free picks up first.
Read this part before you buy
We do not answer your phone for you.
There is no call centre here, and no AI pretending to be your receptionist. The menu asks the caller what they need and then rings a real person on your team. A human on your side still picks up the phone.
If nobody answers, it takes a voicemail and emails you the recording and a transcript. That is the whole thing.
If what you actually want is for somebody else to handle your calls, take messages and book your appointments, you want an answering service, and you should go buy one. They cost between $300 and $1,000 a month and they are worth it for some businesses. This is for everyone who would rather talk to their own customers and just needs the call to reach the right pocket.
Where this fits
What you are probably using now.
Most small businesses are stuck between a personal mobile, a free Google Voice line and a corporate phone platform built for a call centre. None of the three is the right shape.

Questions
The things people ask first.
What is an auto attendant?
An auto attendant is the recorded menu that answers a business line and sends the caller where they need to go. It is the "press 1 for sales, press 2 for service" you have heard a thousand times. The industry also calls it an automated attendant, a virtual receptionist or a phone tree.
Traditionally it was a feature buried inside an expensive office phone system. Here it is the entire product, which is why it costs what it costs.
Do I need a desk phone, an app, or new hardware?
No. Everyone on your team keeps using the phone already in their pocket, with their normal dialler and their normal mobile plan. There is nothing to install, nothing to log into and nothing to charge overnight. Calls arrive as ordinary incoming calls.
Can I keep the number I already have?
Yes. If you already advertise a business number, you can port it across and keep it. Porting usually takes a few business days, and your old line keeps working the whole time, so nothing breaks while you wait.
Will my personal mobile number show up to callers?
No. Callers dial your business number and that is the only number involved on their side. Your mobile number is never displayed, never published and never given out. That is the main reason most people buy this: you can put a number on your website, your van and your Google Business Profile without handing your personal line to the entire internet.
How many people can it ring?
As many as you like. You are not billed per person, so adding your whole crew costs nothing extra. Each menu option can ring one mobile, ring several at the same time so whoever is free answers first, or try them one after another in an order you choose.
What happens after hours?
You set a schedule, and outside those hours callers hear a different greeting. You can send them to voicemail, to an emergency mobile, or to whoever is on call that week. Voicemails arrive in your inbox as a recording plus a written transcript.
Is this an answering service?
No, and the difference matters. An answering service employs people who answer on your behalf, take messages and book appointments, typically for $300 to $1,000 a month. Nobody here speaks to your customers. The menu routes the call and a real person on your team picks it up.
If you want your calls handled for you, buy an answering service. If you want your calls to reach you, this is cheaper and your customers get to talk to you.
How is this different from Google Voice?
Google Voice gives one person a second number that forwards to their phone. That is genuinely useful, and if you work alone and never need a menu, it may be all you need.
It falls apart the moment a second person is involved. There is no proper attendant menu on the free consumer version, no way to route a caller to the right colleague, and business use pushes you into per-user Workspace licensing. This is built for the case where more than one phone should ring and the caller should be asked which one.
What about call routing for something more complicated?
Sub menus, different schedules per option, ring groups and fallbacks are all included. If you need call recording, queues, agent dashboards, CRM integrations or a wallboard, you want a full contact centre platform and you should buy one. This is deliberately a small product.
Get your number and stop giving out your mobile.
